The difference between Intelligence and Wisdom!

Prof Rosman Kongsi

The difference between Intelligence and Wisdom!
I found this worthy reading:

  1. Intelligence leads to arguments.
    Wisdom leads to settlements.
  2. Intelligence is power of will.
    Wisdom is power OVER will.
  3. Intelligence is heat, it burns.
    Wisdom is warmth, it comforts.
  4. Intelligence is pursuit of knowledge, it tires the seeker.
Wisdom is pursuit of truth, it inspires the seeker.
  5. Intelligence is holding on.
    Wisdom is letting go.
  6. Intelligence leads you.
    Wisdom guides you.
  7. An intelligent man thinks he knows everything.
A wise man knows that there is still something to learn.
  8. An intelligent man always tries to prove his point.
A wise man knows there really is no point.
  9. An intelligent man freely gives unsolicited advice.
A wise man keeps his counsel until all options are considered.
  10. An intelligent man understands what is being said.
A wise man understands what is left unsaid.
  11. An intelligent man speaks when he has to say something.
A wise man speaks when he has something to say.
  12. An intelligent man sees everything as relative.
A wise man sees everything as related.
  13. An intelligent man tries to control the mass flow.
A wise man navigates the mass flow.
  14. An intelligent man preaches.
    A wise man reaches.

Intelligence is good
but wisdom achieves better results.

Perbezaan antara Perisikan dan Kebijaksanaan!
Saya dapati bacaan yang layak ini:

  1. Perisikan membawa kepada hujah-hujah.
    Kebijaksanaan membawa kepada pemukiman.
  2. Perisikan adalah kuasa kehendak.
    Kebijaksanaan adalah kuasa OVER akan.
  3. Perisikan adalah panas, ia terbakar.
    Kebijaksanaan adalah kehangatan, ia menghibur.
  4. Perisikan mengejar pengetahuan, ia mengarahkan pencari.
Kebijaksanaan mengejar kebenaran, ia memberi inspirasi kepada pencari.
  5. Perisikan memegang.
    Kebijaksanaan adalah melepaskan diri.
  6. Perisikan membawa anda.
    Kebijaksanaan membimbing anda.
  13. Lelaki cerdas cuba mengawal aliran jisim.
Seorang lelaki yang bijak menavigasi aliran jisim.
  14. Seorang lelaki cerdas mengajar.
    Seorang lelaki bijak mencapai.

Perisikan adalah baik
tetapi kebijaksanaan mencapai hasil yang lebih baik.

WARKAH GURUBESAR KEPADA IBU BAPA

nota kiriman cikgu dan murid lama sekolah itu;

Jika anak anda mendapat markah tertinggi, baguslah.
Namun jika tidak..

  1. tolonglah *jangan rampas keyakinan & maruah* diri mereka.

Guru Besar

Semoga ALLAH sentiasa permudahkan urusan anak-anak kita utk mengadapi periksaan. Aamiin.

Boarding School

by balqis

43, Jalan Utama 20,
Taman Mutiara Rini,

Johor.

16th February 2015

Dear Qalesyah,

How are you? I hope you are in the pink of health. I heard the news of you getting an offered to enter the most prestigious school in Malaysia. I am so proud of you but the fact that you are having the second thought of not going to the school makes me worried. I don’t want you to miss the boat of being a part of the most prestigious school so, I am here to convince you to go to the boarding school.

Boarding school is a place where you can develop good habits in yourself. You will learn how to manage your time wisely because in a boarding school, there would be latecomer system and if you are a ‘latecomer’, you will be demerit and in order to gain back your marks that have been deducted, you have to do some community works or enter any competitions. Next, you will be an independent person because in a boarding school, you have to do everything on your own including washing clothes, make up bed and clean up your room. I know it would hard at the first place but trust me, everything will turns out well when you are used to it.

There are many students in a boarding school who came from many states. There would be from Kelantan, Perlis, Johor, Sarawak and many more. You can make friend with them. Besides making new friends, you can learn new cultures from your new friends who came in different states. Different states have different cultures. Furthermore, boarding school is one of the places that helps you to create a true friendship with your friends. If you have to burn the midnight oil, your friends will always accompany you because a friend in need is a friend indeed. You will learn how to work in a team when you are given a group work by the teachers. If you are given a chance to lead the group, you must grab the chance. Its where you learn the leadership skills and became a good leader to all of your group members.

Last but not least, when you are in a boarding school, you will get the most conducive study environment compared when you are at home. This is because when you enter a boarding school, you are not allowed to bring mobile phone. Mobile phone is the biggest distraction to a student like you. Therefore, you won’t be distracted by all the notifications that enter your phone and you won’t waste your time by scrolling the twitter timeline and stalking people on instagram. If you have to call your parents, there would be many public phones. You just have to prepare some coins whenever you want to use it. It is not as hard as what people think when you have to live at the boarding school without mobile phone.

I hope you can consider what I have told you just now. Please send my regard to your parents. Till then, bye for now.
Sincerely,
Amy
